This was an ambitious goal and we reached more than half way.  Thank you to everyone who donated to our campaign.  This money will go towards our children's daily needs.  Since we launched this campaign we have taken in 4 new small children so our costs have gone up.  The cost of food has risen markedly in Tanzania so this will help us tremendously. We will close this campaign now thank you again.

Not all heroes wear capes 🦸‍♂️

At our Upendo home, security is top priority to keep our kids safe. Along with a high fence and hedge, we also employ a security guard by the name of Robert. Late last year, there was a commotion in the street. As if from a comic book, Robert rushed to the rescue. Unfortunately, through his act of great courage, he broke his leg and was taken to hospital. 

Thankfully Robert’s leg is nearly healed, and he will be returning to work soon!
